Well maintained, modern apartment that is comfortably furnished. The apartment is really spacious and is set on two levels with three bedrooms all with their own en-suite bathrooms and two of the bedrooms open out onto sun terraces.
In the lounge there is a large flat screen TV with UK channels, sports, movies and box sets available, Free super fibre optic Wi-Fi. There is a well-equipped large kitchen, with service hatch to the lounge area with a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
This is a perfect apartment for either three couple or large families as there are two double rooms and the ample sized twin room has space for a camp bed. This room is on the upper level also has it’s own en-suite bathroom.
Large communal swimming pool, and kids pool area. It’s never too busy so you will always get a sunbed either around the pool or in the lovely garden area just set back from the main pool.
Apartment ‘Las Olivas’ is just 50 metres from the Monte Duquesa Courtyard and is just 750 metres from the beach and short walk (7 minutes) down to the Marina of Puerto De La Duquesa or the town of San Luis de Sabinillas.
In summary a perfect location with an abundance of fine bars, excellent restaurants, shops and leisure facilities including the very reasonably priced ‘Duquesa Golf Course’.

About the Monte Duquesa Complex
Monte Duquesa is a safe secured gated complex with a mixture of permanent living and holiday homes. The grounds and gardens are well maintained with a large pool area, a separate pool for children and plenty of free sunbeds, also an outside toilet and changing facility.
Other amenities in the Monte Duquesa Courtyard include bars, restaurants, a specialist wine bar, a pizza take away, estate agents, hairdressers, beauticians & long-term car hire.
Duquesa Holidays recommends, the local friendly & popular bar, Kelly’s which is located in the courtyard. The staff at Kelly’s are very helpful and will assist with key collection & drop off should the team from Duquesa holidays not be available.

Malaga airport is 60 minutes by car, Gibraltar 35 minutes and Jerez about 1.5hrs. These airports are readily serviced by international and some budget airlines including Thomson fly, Ryanair, EasyJet and Norwegian Airlines and British Airways. The flight time is approximately 2.5 hours. La Duquesa is accessible by main coastal roads or take the new toll road which will get you to your destination quicker. A car is recommended but not essential as all Duquesa amenities are within walking distance.

About the Duquesa /Sabninillas Area
The La Duquesa area enjoys an advantageous location to the west of Marbella. The area retains a vast amount of unspoiled natural scenery and authentic local character whilst sharing the fantastic climate and all the excellent services and infrastructure of the Costa del Sol.
A short walk to the west of Puerto de La Duquesa is the little fishing hamlet of Castillo de La Duquesa from which the marina gets its name. The castle built in 1767 can be visited and is often used for local exhibitions. Nearby are largely excavated Roman ruins. In the hamlet are a number of bars and restaurants.
Alternatively, east from La Duquesa is the fishing village of Sabinillas. A seafront promenade connects all areas and makes a pleasant walk.
Duquesa is one of the Costa del Sol’s best kept secrets. Within easy reach of two international airports, Malaga (50 minutes) and Gibraltar (30 minutes) Duquesa seems a thousand miles away from the hustle and bustle of the holiday resorts.

What’s Not Included
Electricity – Due to the high cost of utilities and people leaving the A/C on 24/7 the apartment has an electricity metre installed so please allow 2-3€ per day extra for this.
How to book
At the time of booking you will be asked to pay a 30% deposit of the total cost of the accommodation. This payment is your only commitment until your final payment is due.
We request that you pay the balance in full either prior to arrival (by cleared bank transfer in euros) or on arrival by cash or credit card.
On arrival we also reserve the right to charge a damage deposit of 150€ (or 150 GBP) in cash or alternatively we can hold 150€ on a credit card. (no processing fee as this is 'held' and not 'charged') This will be refunded in full within 7 days of your departure providing there are no breakages or damage
