Who we are & What we do
My name is Sara and I am the owner of Duquesa Holidays. We are based in Monte Duquesa Courtyard and specialise in short term holiday lets, property management and also organising excursions and days out.
We manage a select number of privately-owned apartments and villas. They are chosen for their ‘home away from home’ appeal and the owners of the apartments and villas work closely with us to ensure that you have everything you need for a superb holiday!
My background has mainly been in tourism. I worked for Thomson Holidays (now TUI) for 15 years, always in Spanish areas, either on the mainland or on the Canaries or Balearic Islands. Whilst at Thomson I had various positions including hotel rep, coach guide and resort supervisor.
Here at Duquesa Holidays I am fortunate enough to work alongside a small dedicated team, we are all passionate about delivering the highest level of service and quality. We like to provide that personal service, by giving attention to detail to ensure that you have the best possible holiday!

FAQ
How do I make a reservation?
Message Duquesa Holidays directly to check for availability & best rates…
At the time of booking you will be asked to pay a 30% deposit of the total cost of the accommodation. This payment is your only commitment until your final payment is due.
We request that you pay the balance in full either prior to arrival (by cleared bank transfer in euros) or on arrival by cash or by debit/credit card.
Where are the nearest airports?
The area of Puerto de la Duquesa/Sabinillas is in a perfect location. We are within easy reach of two international airports, Malaga (60 minutes) and Gibraltar (30 minutes) and both airports have regualar flights by a good selection of low cost airlines.
Do I need to hire a car?
Should you wish to hire a car we can recommend reputable local company called ‘Purple Cars’, we can also assist you with a pre-booked car. However, should you wish to let someone else do the driving then we work with ‘Viajes Transandalucia’ to provide a whole range of days and nights out that we can book for you.
How do I get from the airport?
If you are driving from the airport then the then the local road A7/N340 will bring you directly along the coast to us. Alternatively if you prefer a transfer then we can arrange this for you with ‘Happy Transfers’ an excellent local & reliable business.
How do I collect the keys?
Send us you flight details when you book. Then please call us 30 minutes before you are due to get to the apartment. On your arrival at the front of the apartment you be met by a representative of Duquesa Holidays who will check you in and show you around your accomodation.
